JOURNEY BASED PROGRAMS (EXPEDITIONS)

Journey based programs can comprise of one or a combination of activities such as rafting, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing, canoeing, rock climbing, high and low ropes, etc. Journeys can be supported (for example cycle touring with vehicles carrying gear and provisions) or fully independent (such as walking the Overland Track in Tasmania).

All specialist equipment, catering and transport are provided on these programs. We run programs from one to 30 days duration throughout eastern Australia. We can also assist with international programs with our partner organisation – World Youth Adventures.

CENTRE BASED PROGRAMS

The Outdoor Education Group provides more than your average school or community group camp.

All Outdoor Education Group programs include facilitated group activities with educational outcomes, underpinned by the core values and learning goals of respect and responsibility for Self, Others and the Natural World. We’ll work with you to develop an understanding of your school so that we can deliver an educational and fun experience which is tailor made to your student’s needs.

The Outdoor Education Group also provides a range of camp experiences for all types of social, community and religious organisations.

The Outdoor Education Group centre based programs use a range of facilities available at five camps in the OEG group: Biloela Bush Camp and Camp Wombaroo in the Southern Highlands of NSW (2 hrs from Sydney and Canberra) and Camp Eildon, Camp Marysville and Camp Jungai in the North East of Victoria (2hrs from Melbourne).
